Teaching Associate Professor Melissa Goldstein participated in the panel on “Predictive Analytics in Healthcare: How Will It Change Patient Care, Provider Payment, and Public Health?” as part of the GWSPH Business of Public Health Seminar Series on April 26. Goldstein discussed ethics and privacy issues in the increased use of predictive analytics in healthcare for patients, physicians, provider organizations, payers, and public health.

Associate Professor Melissa Goldstein was invited to attend Big Data for Breast Cancer West Coast Conference (BD4BC\WC), a convening of experts around big data for breast cancer that was held Feb. 23-Feb. 24, 2017 in Menlo Park, California. The meeting was hosted by the Susan G. Komen organization, with support from the Robertson Foundation.
